Exerflex Turns Red!

After years of offering blonde group exercise flooring, Exerflex announces that for a limited time, it will be offering a dark cherry-red flooring system as well.  The flooring is a species most commonly referred to as Merbau, and is grown in sustainable forest in the South Pacific.  It is installed in exactly the same way as the traditional Exerflex floor, and has comparable strength properties so the performance is exactly equivalent as well.  The decision to introduce the new species is to allow consumers a choice of flooring tones beyond those typically found in a group exercise setting. 

Merbau flooring has a rich red base color, but also has a unique gold colored flecking in some of the pores of the wood, which gives it a golden sheen as well.  The species has been long used not only in flooring, but also the manufacture of furniture.     It is an exceptionally attractive wood that does not sacrifice performance and durability for good looks.
